We opened Carbon6 in 2015. John had recently completed his term of service with the U.S. Navy and was studying mechanical engineering when he learned about Lamborghini's pioneering work with forged carbon fiber. Working out of his garage, he reverse engineered the process and then developed his own method that produced superior marbling. With that, he started making and selling rings he designed. We were soon able to open a shop in Brooklyn and have been handcrafting rings at our little shop ever since. John continues to be active in veteran and SBA groups and often hosts youth groups to help them learn about engineering and how small businesses can manufacture in America.
